This limited edition helmet pays homage to the motorcycle youth culture of 60’s Britain that was dominated by arch rivals, the mods and the rockers. The latter’s mount of choice was the café racer. However, no production café racers existed. Enter the Royal Enfield Continental GT, complete with all the race-style modifications a café racer could dream of. Performance matched its purposeful looks too and the GT claimed its place Britain’s fastest 250.

Legend has it the 250 Continental GT, Royal Enfield’s groundbreaking cafe racer, was conceived by young apprentices at the Redditch factory. A prototype created in the competition shop sported a peppy engine with 9.5:1 compression piston, peanut cams, five-speed gearbox, fibreglass racing tank with a Monza filler cap and front brake cooling fins amongst several other impressive racer specs.
