Mark of a Legacy
Two precisely hand-painted lines running in parallel to one another have found their way through decades from horse-drawn carriages, to automobiles. Royal Enfield, is one of the few who have still kept this craftsmanship intact. Started by master craftsmen decades ago. And passed on from generations, there are still a few who are perfecting the art of painting stripes on the tank of the Royal Enfield Bullet at a factory in Tiruvottiyur, Chennai. These lines lovingly known as Madras stripes have emerged over time as a symbol of craftsmanship for Royal Enfield, blending the timeless with contemporary.
After over a century of witnessing adventure and exploration, these lines have found a new canvas. Royal Enfield Helmets, built with the same philosophy of bringing classic aesthetics with modern technology. Bringing this legacy closer to our riding community, this year our riders gathered across the country to be a part of Rider Mania, and got a chance to witness these helmets being pinstriped on the spot by one of our artists from Chennai.
After sharing glimpses of these helmets, Royal Enfield introduced an exclusive range of 200 Limited Edition Pinstriped helmets for riding enthusiasts across the world to make them a part of this legacy. With an overwhelming response, these helmets were sold out in just 3 minutes, marking the beginning of a new chapter.
